Adequate provenance package

Definition in the source manuscript (draft) fusion-reconstruction
On this page

Statement

A finite package is adequate for level when every represented level- route claim is determined by that package, its specified source generator, and its finite decoder data.

Meaning and scope

Adequacy is measured against the claims being made. No minimality is required.

Example

To represent a comparison, retain the two generating routes . To represent a relation between comparison routes, also retain the intermediate data needed by both competing decoders.
